"... I... probably should have..." Peeking out through the longer lengths of his bangs, he grinned sheepishly. "I'm sorry. But, Hagi... I have to fix this..."
He paused, puzzled by his actions. Hadn't he been determined just moment before? Still... she had a point. It was well known by anyone that was close to Solomon that he on occasion would act on his impulses without thinking...
Perhaps this had been a mistake after all.

It had been one of the hardest decisions he'd ever made, turning against them. But Saya was their bride... he just couldn't continue to support their plans to kill her. Not Saya...
He longed for that sort of bond again. To be a part of things, to be needed... to be able to spend his life as a part of something greater.
