NON NON NON NON NON!!!!
[The sound of a sudden high pitched shriek fills the air, followed by the little pitter patting of tiny feet as a three year old Solomon races into the room.]
NO BROCCLY! NO!!!!!!!!!!!
[In a move of desperation, he races to the nearest fortress that can save him from the horrors, darting underneath the desk in his office to quickly hide from sight.]
BAD BROCCLY! DON'T WANT!!!!

[He stands up and hurries off. About two minutes later, he comes back, cheerfully brandishing a picture book. That he was able to find. The Library clearly WANTS him to procrastinate, stupid thing.]
Here! Story!
[Sitting back down, he opens the book and turns it so that the pictures display on the video. He speaks in his best reading-a-book voice, which, for some reason, emphasises the Lancastrian undertones in his accent.]
The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
In the light of the moon, a little egg lay on a leaf...
[He continues on through the book, his voice expressive and, well, this is a fun way to procrastinate.]

Date: 2010-04-18 05:03 am (UTC)Even afterward, his eyes remain large and fixed on the box on the desk, and he waits with bated breath for what the man will say next.]

Date: 2010-04-18 05:10 am (UTC)Now, you see, you can learn something from the Very Hungry Caterpillar. If you eat too many sweets, you'll end up with a tummy ache. But if you eat fruit, and your greens, like a good caterpillar, you'll feel much better. And eventually, you'll turn into a butterfly. Isn't that better?
Date: 2010-04-18 05:16 am (UTC)Broccly makes butterflies? Will I be pretty?
