Lilith and Father Abel, I would like to thank both of you for coming to me in my time of need. Your guidance helped me to find my way through the darkness and back to God's light. I've given this great consideration and if you'll have me, I would like to request to transfer to your church.

I was hoping that I might be able to see you. So much has happened in the last 24 hours and I'd like to share what I've discovered with you if you have time.

[It's unfortunate how all good things must come to an end. And even Saya would admit that this experience was a good thing. They fit. They meshed together so well in the tight embrace and as nerve-wracked as she had been that night on the balcony, it would probably amaze her later once she was thinking clearly that she was so calm this close.

Was it part of her own instincts? Her sister's Chevalier and... like Rikku and Diva.
That was the first time that had occurred to her really in any sense other than Diva's Chevalier equating 'my enemy'. That definition was in the past but this second one, this one that Diva knew all along...

No one else could give me what this one man can.... That's the purpose of the Chevaliers. Something that I could never, ever have. And something that I never wanted before.
Something that I tried to snuff out with my own hands.

Alright, now she was breaking into a new flush. She had never even considered that avenue with Solomon but now that she had, she couldn't simply banish the thought.
What part of this was instinct calling to her? Was there more to this? She was comfortable in his hold, comfortable with his lips and now heatedly aware of just how close they were.

It was with reluctance on her part that she brought her hands back to those shoulders, gradually breaking that kiss. She had to end it now though. Now that she was... now that she was thinking things she had to pull away, put some distance between them and try to pretend that she wasn't flushed and a little dazed.

[Responding to the hands that pressed him away, he withdrew for a moment, understanding that she had given him his answer. Saya's needs were so very different than Diva's, something both puzzling and endearing to the blond haired Chevalier.

If she wished to be courted, then that is what he'd do. Gazing softly at her, he reached a hand up to brush softly against the skin of her cheek. For her, he would be patient. And if she asked, he would even leave the Church for her.]

Perhaps... you'd let me take you to an early dinner then? The night is still young...

[Most things about Saya were different from her sister, particularly on this track. A girl raised in her era, though she had lived through so many others now, always managed to hold a few particular morals.

For a moment, Saya seemed just a touch distracted. It wasn't until the hand brushed against her cheek that she managed to blink a few times, gaze clearing as she regarded the blond.]

[Saya was hardly the only one that was distracted.

Solomon could still taste her lips upon his own, and with his arm still wound around her waist, his fingers toyed with the fabric caressing her skin. It was enough to speed his pulse, and completely derail any thoughts of his duties to the Church.

But her words brought him back to reality, and he couldn't help but to laugh at his own weakness.]

I suppose I really should ask...

[Saya blinked almost owlishly at the Chevalier for a moment. Part of it certainly was what has just happened, combined with his fingers intent on keeping in motion. Part though...
She broke into a light smile.]

That's the first time you've laughed in a while, you know.

[Tilting his head, his previous humor slid from his features until all that was left was a small smile.]

Well, I suppose my sins weighed too heavily upon my soul for me to feel happy.

[Reaching up, he gently brushed a lock of her hair out of her face.]

But things are different now that I've reconciled with the Church, and am still able to spend time with you as I'd like.
