69th Devotion: Business Prospects and Personal Matters

As some of you may know, the ARTEMIS Organization has been working on reproducing a form of Blood Tablet that had been available in Mr. Kuran's world. After much work, I’ve developed what I believe to be an accurate duplicate of these tablets, but I would like to ask for any volunteers to give their opinion of the finished product. And of course, I will honor any requests for anonymity should you wish it. Would anyone be interested in joining this study?

I assure you, it has been thoroughly tested and is quite safe for consumption.

Why certainly. The tablets are meant to help curb the thirst and provide the necessary nutrition for those that require hemoglobin in their daily diet. Thus, someone could theoretically subsist on these tablets without the need for a host...

I expect that there will be some... hesitation on the parts of some of the community to explore this avenue, but I believe that there could be benefits to having this as an alternative.

It certainly would, however, I just inquire: what of those who do not consume blood for it's nutritional value, but the life-force it contains?

That is an interesting question~ But that's what trials are for... By hearing the participants comments, I'll be able to work towards improving upon the blood tablets.

A person's life force? I can't say that I know the answer to that yet... but I think if it would be likely anywhere, then it would be here.

Simply put, if you should develop a drug to replace a vampire's natural urges, it should encompass the needs of all.

It is a tad prejudice though, I shall admit.

... a 'drug', Mr. Vega? I hardly think that a synthetic replacement for hemoglobin could constitute it as a drug.

Please don't make the mistake of assuming I'm trying to change the nature of those who require blood to survive. This is merely providing them with another alternative, should they choose to do this... I hardly see how this could be prejudiced...

Well, there are sentient animals in this City who may very well take offense to those who choose to feed on the flesh of their brethren. Perhaps you should also develop a supplement that tastes like meet to keep them placated?

Well, I must say, hemoglobin offers me no sustenance at all, it is the solid matter within the blood on which I feed. Be that as it may, I suppose it is not my right to pass judgment on a company wishing to profit on some poor souls disgust for his own needs.

I think I would hardly use those particular words when referring to Mr. Kuran... but I appreciate your candor. It's been most informative.
