It seems... I've lost two very important friends of mine. Their apartment stands empty, and there's no sign of them anywhere in the City. I took the time to go to the Hall of the Missing only to find their images enshrined in its walls.
I feel at a loss.
They were amongst the first ones to welcome me to this place, and to help me get situated. I shall sorely miss them...
I can't help but feel that the events lately have been more brutal, hitting me where it will cause the most damage. Is my research hitting too close to home for the creatures that run this place? Or is it merely happenstance that has turned my luck sour...
In a related matter, I've been contemplating hiring someone as a type of 'body guard'. This would only be part time work, based on the influx of curses and whether or not I've been affected by them or not. I can give more details to anyone that I feel has the required skills that I'm looking for...
Can anyone recommend me to someone that might be interested in such employment?
