I'm glad to hear from you. You so rarely ever contact me... I think you work too hard, my dear. It's healthier to find a nice balance between work and leisure... medically, as well as for the spirit.

Well, it's true that you're one of the more recent additions to our little family. But I think that's a bit harsh for you to so bluntly deny us this way.

Didn't you come to use looking for a home? And didn't I graciously open our doors to you to give you what you needed? What other definition could apply to such a bond other than family?
