My dear Marishka took it upon herself to taunt a hunter, never a good idea in my opinion. He must be quite skilled, because he was able to subdue her and take her into custody.

It was my mistake to not have realized his ties with the authorities, otherwise I would have proceeded more carefully... I took it to be a matter of a simple assault. A mistake I won't commit again...

If only Van were here...
