I do understand. It must have been a rather frightening thing, stumbling into such a scene, not knowing if you'd survive the experience. I really am very sorry for that. I really should have locked the door...

I'm sorry for all the blood, and for worrying you. I should express that no one was harmed. It was all (except for the small amount of my own) bagged donated blood which I'd had on hand for a special patient of mine.

Perhaps another reason I hadn't been worried when things got a little... well. I won't go into that...

But please, you don't need to ever doubt my friendship to you. I'm committed on this point.
