122nd Devotion: Quality Time with the Rival

[One moment Solomon Goldsmith is out enjoying the view of the city's lights below from his balcony, and in the next moment his environment abruptly shifts into a bright interior room. His face shows some sign of annoyance at this, but not the typical shock or hysteria that is often evidenced by others in the City. After all, Solomon has been going through such inconveniences like this for longer than most.

Instead, he looks down at the splattered mess of his deep red beverage staining the light carpeting and gives a slight tug on the handcuff now encircling his wrist. With narrowed eyes, he looks askance at the cello bow being held by the other man's captive hand.]

...Haji. Of course.

I enjoy it. Music is calming.

Oh wow, that's... helpful.

And yes, the work does keep me busy enough.

Do you like classical? Jazz?

You work at the hospital here? What's your specialty?

My family tends to favor classical, but I'm not opposed to being open to other forms of music. What style do you tend to play?

And yes, I currently work in the E.R. Although the majority of my experience has been in hematology and pharmaceutical research.

Jazz at The Blue Light, Wednesday through Sunday nights. But on my own I usually play a mixture of that and classical depending on my mood.

It's a noble profession. Probably help people more than most other professions.

Perhaps I'll be able to see you perform sometime.

Perhaps, but it can be quite taxing at times.
