He sighs unhappily and reluctantly addresses anyone who might be listening.]

How empty this place feels without her presence...

I just don't understand. What is it that keeps me here when others come and go so often? I don't suppose anyone can venture a guess... I really would like to know.

No. Due to the 'trip', my Network connection was spotty at best and the Hall excluded from the City 'caravan'.

During travel, may have passed close to her world and she got pulled back into it. [The last part doubles as both a believable explanation and lie to spare Solomon's feelings. More than likely Marishka willingly slipped away - she did long for her Master and sisters.]
