With a moments hesitation, the doctor steps into view, clothing swathed in a deep red as blood drips from his fingertips to the ground.

But the Chevalier doesn't pay it any mind.

Instead, all of his focus is solely on an ornate stone frame hung upon the wall. He stops, not saying a word. But with eyes fixed at the portrait displayed within, his shoulders sink as if the world itself pressed down on them.]
