83rd Devotion: First Aid at Home

[Accidental Video// Action for the apartment]

[The video comes to life, showing a somewhat harried Solomon walking quickly across the room. His crisp white shirt is painted a deep crimson from the collar down on one side. And his hand stays firmly pressed to the side of his neck as he disappears into another room for a moment.

When he returns, he carries a few bags of blood and a medical bag under in one arm.]

And I just bought the couch too. Of course, it will have to be replaced...

[Sighing, his body sinks down to dig through his medical bag, pulling out some sterile gauze, a roll of filament, and a curved needle with his free hand. He speaks to someone off-screen, voice assuring and calm.]

Don't worry, just a few stitches and everything will be fine~, you'll see.

[Turning to look off camera, he addresses the other person.]

I'm afraid I'll need your assistance now. Would you mind holding the compress while I prepare the sutures?

Can you make it to my apartment? I'm having some medical supplies delivered here shortly.

Action?

Keats was quickly becoming less agitated and more worried about his papercut. It ran the length of his hand, from the crook of his thumb to the wrist and it would not stop bleeding.

If he wasn't imaginary, Keats was certain that he would have been light headed. Even now, he wasn't feeling quite himself.

He lifted his uninjured hand to knock on the door.

"Coming," came the muted reply. From the sound of it, the bearer of the voices was a bit away from the door.
Thankfully, it wasn't long before the door opened. The young lady holding the knob gave a light smile, even if it was tinged with nervousness.

"Come in." She paused, then flustered a little, "Do you need any help in? I suppose I should have asked that first..."

Keats blinked and at first he considered that this may be a curse. "Yer no the doctor, are ye?"

Of course, what he was asking was completely ridiculous in normal situations. This, however was the City and Keats was bleeding like a valve from a papercut.

"Ah jus dun want ta bleed all orer the place."

Saya smiled a little apologetically, "I'm not. He's in the living room though."

Glancing momentarily to his wound, she couldn't help the worried expression. It really must be a curse then, considering how much this fellow was bleeding. There was another pang of guilt of her own role in Solomon's current situation.

"Just follow me." After shutting the door behind Keats, she didn't waste any time in leading him to Solomon. She doubted he would want to waste any time either, given his wound.

[Clutching a freshly made gauze compress to the side of his neck, Solomon rose to greet his guest. Stitches had only exasperated his wound, providing him with yet more openings to bleed from... but at least he knew what not to do for the man walking in his door.]

Mr. Keats... how good to see you, even if it is under unfortunate circumstances. Why don't you come in and make yourself comfortable while I take a look at your injury.

Action (oops!)

[Keats nods and lifts the shirt he'd been using, it's soaked at this point.]

It should have healed by now, I woulda thought. A'course the City isn't... being friendly.

[Saya couldn't help the distress evident in her features. Both of them were bleeding so much...
She stepped forward after a second.]

If you don't mind, I can take the shirt. We have gauze and everything so you shouldn't be needing it now.

Thank ye-

[Keats looks down at the shirt and sighs.]

Ah'm wondering if this is going to just keep coming. I don't think I can bleed out...

[he holds the hand up to try to keep the dripping down]

Anyone else hurt worse?

"My thanks." Keats was trying to pay attention to his surroundings, however he was mostly concerned about his hand and the state of Solomon's floor.

"Ye need some help as well?" He asked, not that he had given the young woman a look over.
