[Solomon enters the room, his footsteps light as he makes his way over to the network device on the table. All of his attention is on the object in his hands, and his voice is soft, carrying an undertone of amusement in it.]

I suppose... I should 'thank' those hunters that drove her into my life after all... Marishka... do you even know how happy I am that you're living with me right now? What would have become of me otherwise?

[He sits, pulling a sparkling golden pendant up into the air, watching it intently as it spins in front of his eyes for a moment before spotting the little red light that signifies he's being recorded. Sighing, he turns his attention to the voyeuristic crowd.]

... honestly. Can't a man have some privacy in his own home? .........................................

Oh, very well... if you must.  Marishka... I have something for you. A gift.

Oh? Was this one of the men responsible for her capture? Forgive me, but I suppose I've been a bit... distracted lately, so I'm afraid I haven't been keeping up on other matters.

They appear to be rather oblivious. Then again, Mr. Northman hasn't made direct threats nor started a body count that I'm aware of.

Back in his homeworld, that vampire is some sort of law enforcer. There was talk of him assuming said role here.

How troublesome. He'll still hold the potential to cause problems, even if he doesn't carry a badge. But it's good to be aware of the situation... better to prepare for any eventualities.

It is interesting though that someone with his... proclivities, would feel justified enough to side with the law...

Currently, he's the only vampire here from that particular world. If others arrive...I doubt the policing will be kept solely on them.
