At the moment, I ask you to be patient with us. I'm trying my best for her to be comfortable. She is able to drink Aqua Vitae which is a step up from depending of blood.

If she can sustain from this, it would make her case more sympathetic.

Ah? You can say I am a "vampire" too. That's how the Terrans call us, Methuselahs, in my world. We fight the Thirst with Water of Life.

I'm human, but if you want to call me a vampire that's fine-just remember other Nobles of the Empire think that as an insult. Methuselah or Terrans, there's no difference between us, I love the Terran with all my heart.

Please don't be so formal! I never thought one's "species" matter in the type of person you could become. My uncle, the Duke of Tigris, thought the same.

The world would be a brighter place if more people shared such philosophies...
